The Better Water Maker (BWM) is a UV water purification device. From January to May of 2011 the first long term studies were conducted on the device. Data was collected around the usability and impact of the BWM in a variety of environments. The BWM adapted the best in the schools and faced the most challenges in the groups selling the water. It was found that the most successful groups were the ones who invested in the project.
