The goal of our project was to assist a Hmong women’s craft cooperative in the village of Pang Ung Mhai in Northern Thailand to establish a more profitable business. With a focus on empowerment and sustainability, we utilized methods of participatory action research to help the women develop marketing skills and promotional tools. Our recommendations were aimed at allowing the women to maintain success on their own in the future and enabling our sponsor, the Raks Thai Foundation, to support other developing communities.
