The role played by trace gases as a regulator of radiative forcing delivered to the Earth establishes it as a significant research topic with implications important to the quality of human life and the environment. We researched the effects on carbon dioxide concentrations in the lower atmosphere as a result of the world pursuing different energy policies over the next few decades. Through our research, we demonstrated that a nontrivial reduction in CO2 emissions can be obtained using different policies.
