This project investigated the determination of the economical, technological, and governmental aspects of a breakthrough biocrude production process developed by the United States Sustainable Energy Corporation, known as the Rivera Process. Compared to other traditional processes, the Rivera Process seemed very promising, and this project expanded on this. Researching the traditional processes and the Rivera Process, resulted in the conclusion of the plausibility of this process and how it would affect the US economy and diesel consumption. Also, the approaches we took in obtaining the information, as well as the results of the research, are outlined in this project report.
