The preceding project team provided results indicating that Powder Metallurgy (PM) constituents will meet NASA's safety requirements. The goal of this project was to further those results and to demonstrate the effectiveness of a PM bus structure design. Several designs were generated; each modeled and evaluated on various functional levels. A prototype bus structure has been constructed using the chosen design. The finite element analysis (FEA) results of this design indicate that it will surpass the loading requirements outlined by NASA.
