This study, sponsored by the Grafton Sewer Department, created a means for inventorying and effectively managing their sewer system. The Sewer System data was collected and visualized using Geographic Information System(GIS). The study then demonstrated that the data could be used for determining problem areas, waste flow through the system and GASB-34 compliance. The results include most of the GASB-34 requirement, an equipment database, a near complete GIS layer of the assets and recommendations on how to implement and maintain the system.
