A series of mechanisms commonly studied in the Kinematics of Mechanisms (ME3310) and Dynamics of Machinery (ME3311) classes at WPI were modeled using Pro-Engineer. The model animations were incorporated into an interactive web-based tutorial aimed at increasing student comprehension of the velocity and acceleration characteristics of linkages. A four bar model was also configured to complement the Hrones and Nelson Atlas of Fourbar Coupler Curves by providing detailed information for the general motion solutions contained therein.
