Our project focused on improving education in rural Thailand with solar panel technology. We evaluated the educational needs of three rural villages and discovered that educational videos could be used to improve education, but the village schools lack the electricity required by such learning tools. A pilot PV system used to power a television and video system was successfully implemented in one of theses villages. We created a plan for future implementations of similar solar-powered systems in other rural villages of Thailand.
