ORACLE HTML5 RICH WEB APPLICATION
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerWhen a data-intensive Web application has no connection to the server, usability becomes impossible or, at a minimum, very problematic. No matter how a connection becomes unavailable, using the application or between accesses, users can suddenly find they are unable to get any work done until a connection is reestablished. Oracle™ approached us with this problem, and our project is aimed at providing a possible solution to this issue, allowing a local user to continue their work regardless of the status of the connection. We developed a proof-of-concept framework that would show it is possible to allow developers to build Web applications capable of this.
