The invasion of Japanese popular culture empire

open in viewerThe topic of this project was to study ideas of Japanese popular culture in the United States from anime, manga (comics), video games and movies and to describe the interaction of popular culture between Japan and the United States. The project reviewed literature on this topic and then, we have described two to three examples of Japanese anime, manga, video games and movies. The project analyzed globalization of the interaction between the two countries and the Japanese and American popular culture items through an additional lens of research on post-modernism and modernism.
