This project entailed developing a survey of the arts community throughout Worcester County and providing a complete dissemination plan to be used for future implementation. Data regarding the survey's content and clarity was collected through interviews and pretests with artists and cultural supporters. The results of the survey will be used to provide evidence to developers that show an interested population willing to inhabit the Worcester Arts District as well as details about their living and work needs. The outcome will also enlighten cultural sponsors who are involved with the District as to what special programs and other benefits artists and patrons would like in this District. This is the second of a multi-phase initiative; the following phases will execute our dissemination plan and analyze the resulting data from completed surveys.

• This report represents the work of one or more WPI undergraduate students submitted to the faculty as evidence of completion of a degree requirement. WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review.
