This project is a follow up to the initial space initiatives report by Elko et al, (2004). The current report is a review of economic, political and technological implications of a space race between the United States of America and the People's Republic of China. Our team considered the added implications of technological breakthroughs not considered in the prior report. This report also considers the effects of American public support in the success rate of NASA and its plans to return to the Moon.

  • This report represents the work of one or more WPI undergraduate students submitted to the faculty as evidence of completion of a degree requirement. WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review.
