Giant robots in theatrical production.

open in viewerThis project is a record of the projection work done for the New Voices 22 drama festival in D-term of 2004. It explores the threefold use of technology in theatrical production. First, it will show the use of projections in the opening sequence of the festival. Next, it will show the creation of an entirely technical character from the play "Captions" by Michael Ciaraldi. Finally, it will show how the projection technology can give an actor the ability to portray something much larger than reality would normally allow.
