This project represents an attempt to collect the scattered knowledge about the water problem affecting the world, with a clearer focus on Sudan and Egypt. What Egypt and Sudan face is not so much a water crisis as a chronic problem escalating to a crisis dimensions because older problems are depending at the same time as newer ones are becoming evident. Some countries of Africa have already reached or are fast approaching the limits of their water supplies.
