This project's goal was to provide high school administrators with prediction tools for identifying students at risk of failing the MCAS. Using WPS Class of 2003 transcript data, Myers-Briggs learning type indicators, and 8th grade MCAS scores, we tested for correlations related to 11th grade scores. We also conducted MBTI testing in the schools to expand the dataset. It was concluded that combinations of these factors will provide accurate predictions of student performance, and recommendations for coaching programs can be made.
