This report was prepared for Toyota de Puerto Rico (TDPR). The purpose of our project was to assess TDPR's wetland mitigation project in the community of Catano. Through the course of this process our project's purpose evolved from being "biological," assessing the progress of a wetland mitigation project, to "socio-ecological," assessing the entire property and all surroundings affecting the wetland, including the history of land use on the wetland. From this research, we developed recommendations for improving the wetland that would most benefit both TDPR and the community of Catano.
