PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerVideo games are examined as a potential source of psychological addiction. Role-playing games in particular are studied due to their distinct characteristics and reputation through the media. Operant conditioning is also discussed as a rationale for video game addiction. An original online survey has been distributed to obtain information from video game players, and relevant results are displayed in each section, as well as at the end of the report.
