Resource reuse paradigms in Costa Rica.

open in viewerWhen one company can supply its unused resources to another company's production process, this is known as a resource exchange. Developed through the cooperation between a team of students from WPI and the CNP+L, the National Center for Cleaner Production in Costa Rica, this proposal outlines a model for a subproduct exchange system, a unique form of resource exchange. This system will not only reduce waste generated by industry at the source but will stimulate economic growth for this developing nation.
