We successfully designed a ⅓ scale working model of an off grid refrigerator. Milk was circulated through tubing using a pump. The tubing was surrounded by ice, which was frozen previously by a refrigeration cycle. While the ice melted, the milk reached the accepted safe storage temperature of 45℉ or about 7.2℃.
