Thailand has experienced a steep rise in its adolescent pregnancy rate over the last decade, which is expected to only increase. The project’s goal was to promote safe sexual practices through digital media to reduce this rate. After identifying a message gap in existing Thai digital media, the team developed an online video with the message "Discuss contraception with your partner." The team measured teens’ short-term attitude change towards this message with surveys administered before and after viewing the video. Survey results indicated that the video was effective in positively changing teens' short-term attitudes towards discussing contraception. From this analysis, the team composed recommendations for continued research to support future teen pregnancy prevention initiatives.
