Abstract

The ability to respond to medical emergencies in a timely manner requires continuous improvement of dispatch and response procedures. Reaching the scene of the incident in a quick and safe manner is essential when responding to a medical emergency call. This project identifies factors that influence response time, aiming to reduce delays in 9-1-1 systems. The proposed solution includes a software interface that improves pre- hospital care and dispatch procedures, and control theory equations for testing the efficiency of 9- 1-1 systems.
