The ASSISTment system commonly employs tutoring to help students with math problems. This tutoring usually consists of hints that can be requested by the student. In this method, the hints point out key steps to solving the problem, concluding with the answer to the problem in the last hint. This study examines the benefits of providing the students with a link to a web page that teaches the topic that is most prevalent in the question. The primary purpose is to determine the effectiveness web-page based help versus traditional ASSISTment tutoring.
