An Interactive Qualifying Project Report submitted in partial fulfillment of the Teacher Preparation Program describing a student teaching experience at Doherty Memorial High School in Worcester, MA. This includes a description Doherty Memorial High School and the Engineering and Technology Academy at Doherty. It also contains a description of the Chemistry courses taught and course materials that were developed during the student teaching, as well as a discussion of the curriculum they followed and the methods of assessment that were used throughout the practicum. It also contains a discussion on the students and the realities they faced that in turn affected their education. The report comes to a close with a subjective conclusion of the teaching experience.
