Abstract

The goal of the project was to improve the use of e-portfolios for language learning at Lingnan University. The study gathered information on student and faculty use and perception of e-portfolios using student surveys, interviews, and Self Access Centre sessions. The results indicated strong trends relating effort, opinions, and resources surrounding e-portfolios. The research concluded with several recommendations including the implementation of "tech tutors", more in-class demonstrations, curriculum changes, and incentives for well-presented e-portfolio view layouts.
