The goal of this project is to investigate the amplitude, energy, and frequency of certain vibrations in an ambulance and analyze the effects of these vibrations on the quality, and efficiency of an AMTI force-plate. Working with current Boston and Worcester Emergency Medical Technicians, and studying past research work on vibrations and ambulance care, this project developed an overview of implications related to vibrations during transport. The ultimate goal will be to diminish the transfer of road vibrations into the ambulance.
