The town of Auburn desired Green Communities designation for economic and environmental benefit. Thus, I worked collaboratively to research and provide data-driven recommendations to the Planning Division of the Town of Auburn in order to aid the town to create a feasible implementation plan. As part of the research, we compiled data from neighboring Green Community designated towns in order to analyze trends to determine the methods most appropriate for Auburn's designation. We provided a comprehensive written report with extensive research, interpreted data, and site-specific recommendations and presented this data to a diverse group of stakeholders in the municipal government.
