Abstract

This is a comparative study of academic advising websites to improve the effectiveness of the website of the Office of Academic Advising (OAA). It has been determined that the current OAA website is not fulfilling its potential. A competitive value analysis was performed on academic advising websites from other universities, and a means of ranking these websites was created. From ranking these websites, good practices for academic advising websites were extracted. Finally, these good practices were presented as recommendations for improving the OAA website.
