Abstract

This paper discusses the preparation, experience, and reflection of Student Teaching at Worcester North High School during the fall semester of 2013. It is prepared to fulfill the requirements of the Massachusetts Department of Education teacher licensing requirements as well as Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s Interactive Qualifying Project. The paper begins with demographics of the school, and follows through the concepts of professional teaching standards. It ends with a picture of the classroom, who the students were, and what they were like.
