Abstract
This project focused on determining the appeal of autonomous cars to the general public. Through background research our team determined six key influences which impact the desirability of autonomous cars. We collected data using a survey based on these influences to determine which had the strongest impact. Data analysis showed that although autonomous cars have attractive traits, participants were deterred by legal and cost issues, but mostly by potential lack of safety.
