PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis project investigated changing habitats of the lower Colorado River. By collecting and reviewing authoritative publications and examining information from various sources a comprehensive understanding of the issues was developed. A continuous increase in salinity and nutrient composition of the Colorado River and reduction in its water flow have created many issues for the local biota. This report presents future scenarios of the River and the Salton Sea and proposes possible solutions for rescuing this important environment.
