This project required us to repurpose the Worcester Memorial Auditorium Basement as an educational exhibit, based off of the 2069 Lunar Base concept. The Massachusetts STEM curriculum framework is combined with extensive research on lunar bases in order to create an innovative experience. The exhibit was designed around curriculum standards for 5th through 8th grade so as to attract educators and their students. Each sub-exhibit provides a realistic lunar base simulation with interactive activities and experiments. We designed each sub-exhibit in 3D in order to fully realize our vision and allow others to use it as a platform for expansion. Our execution of the lunar base exhibit combined theory and practice to create a dynamic exhibit that promotes learning and captivates students.
