This project, in association with the American Antiquarian Society, describes the procedure involved with generating graphical displays of the Phillip Lampi electoral data collection. The required data were taken from the "A New Nation Votes" website in order to generate maps using the geographic information system ArcGIS. In addition, ArcGIS was used to transform existing historical maps into a digital format, making the digitized electoral data and historical maps more user-friendly and useful for further analysis.
