docASSIST is a tool originally created by WPI students as a Major Qualifying Project (MQP) and has been in continual development as an Interdisciplinary Qualifying Project (IQP). The projects are under the advisement and mentorship of the WPI Assistments team. The purpose of docASSIST is to help teachers give feedback to their students faster and more efficiently. Currently, many teachers are overworked with the amount of grading and revising of students work they have to do. docASSIST solves this problem by giving teachers a platform to evaluate and give feedback to students efficiently. The purpose of this IQP was to continue developing docASSIST. Areas of development include refactoring to fix major bugs, draft saving, Google Classroom integration, and pushing grades to Classroom.
