Abstract
A study was performed on the use and impact of Life Cycle Assessments in Danish industry. Interviews were conducted with representatives in order to evaluate the extent to which LCAs are integrated within Danish companies. The study found that LCAs do not have a great deal of influence on management decisions, product development or marketing schemes. Due to the relatively small size of Danish companies, Danish industry was still in the early stages of development with respect to LCA implementation.
