A wind and solar powered electrical generation system was designed and built for Heifer Project International, a world social service organization. Background research was conducted into currently available sustainable energy technologies, conditions necessary for use, and relevant social issues. Site environment was surveyed and appropriate system components were chosen to provide sustainably generated AC electricity. System design, parts ordering, and component installation tasks were conducted in a team environment. An educational website and information for site visitors were also produced.
