Fenton's oxidation was examined for use as a new method for water disinfection in developing countries that lack proper water disinfection means. Reactant doses for Fenton's oxidation were determined, and various methods of product distribution were examined. Disinfection using Fenton's oxidation for people in developing countries was found to be feasible as it is inexpensive, portable and effective.
