Music programs at WPI provide much more than a mode of diversion and socialization for an engineering student: the right side of their brain, used to solve mathematical problems involving logic, abstract reasoning, and spatial-temporal tasks, is being stimulated. Lesley Blumberg '07 has developed a promotional DVD, highlighting the music ensembles available to the WPI student body. Distribution to prospective students will help increase enrollment at WPI, while encouraging greater participation in the various music ensembles.
