Our project evaluates the current state of computer science and programming education for non-computer science majors. Interviews and surveys were conducted to find out what concepts and techniques WPI students and professors are looking for in a computer science course for non-computer science majors. We propose a new computer science course for non-computer science majors. Significant components of the proposal include using projects based on student's majors and teaching using the Python programming language.
