Previous Breakthrough IQP studies have been expanded upon in order to create a more diverse pool of panelists. Through the issuing of the Breakthrough survey to 4 panels (experts, alumni, space enthusiasts, and teachers) the most significant and likely future space technologies have been identified. Through the use of collected data and physical intuition, 6 scenarios have been created, each depicting a unique outcome of the next 50 years in space utilization. The scenarios are awaiting future group follow up in order to generate likelihood data with the aim of determining which of the scenarios is most likely and, ultimately, what the next 50 years of space utilization will look like. The distribution of this final wave of surveys has begun, but at the time of this writing, only 7 out of about 60 people contacted have responded.
