Safety has always been the biggest priority of automobile manufacturers. There have been constant advancements in technology to make vehicles as safe as possible. The evolution of Event Data Recorders has been a big step towards this goal. Event Data Recorders can provide information which can help in improving the existing technology for a safer tomorrow. This paper discusses the basic understanding of Event Data Recorders and how their use can be beneficial for society.
