open in viewerThe Early Equestrian Technology IQP, carried out in collaboration with the Higgins Armory Museum, details the rise, fall, and re-emergence of horses and horse armor throughout ancient civilizations, Medieval and Renaissance Europe, and the Near/Far East. This project encompassed research on a vast array of topics related to equestrian technology. This research was used to analyze over 170 of the museum's artifacts that were then photo-documented in a catalog. Both the research and catalog are available on the web in PDF format.
