The goal of this project is to create Internet-based courseware for teaching the Material Point Method (MPM). The MPM is a mathematical method for describing collisions and deformations between solids by analyzing the objects on a particle level. Providing novice to advanced levels of textual and graphical mediums, the courseware is a powerful learning tool for all users. By taking advantage of technologies, such as C++ (with OpenGL), PERL (with gd), HTML and JavaScript, this goal has been successfully met.
