The objective of the Safer Stations Project is to prepare a report for the London Borough of Merton Environmental Services Department that assesses the effectiveness of recent changes to Thameslink transit stations. Thameslink based these changes on recommendations by a previous research project aimed at creating a safer environment at the station. The methods of the project include surveying passengers and interviewing transit officials. Our analysis measured passenger awareness of the renovations and led to recommendations for additional changes.

• This report represents the work of one or more WPI undergraduate students submitted to the faculty as evidence of completion of a degree requirement. WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review.
