The project consists of background research and educational recommendations for Higgins Armory of Worcester to use to complement their display of armor and artifacts from the second siege of Rhodes in 1522. The scope of the project includes research on the Order of St. John, its castles, hospitals and medical care in Jerusalem, Acre, and Rhodes. The period covered ranges from just before the First Crusade to the loss of Rhodes by the Order in the siege of 1522.
