The Purpose of this IQP was to provide information regarding Worcester's economy. Economic statistics for both Worcester and similar cities were compared. Economic trends were displayed using time series analysis. Major industries of the City were identified through quotient analysis. Research was completed to identify which industries would complement Worcester's major industries. Suitability analysis was used to determine the best locations for all types of industries. Recommendations were made as to which industries to introduce and where to place them.
