Neural networks for financial prediction.
PublicThe purpose of this project is threefold: firstly, to make an overview of what artificial neural networks are; secondly to demonstrate the process of building and testing a neural network; and thirdly to examine and analyze the use of neural networks as a forecasting tool, specifically a neural network's ability to predict future trends of a Stock Market Index and a publicly traded NASDAQ stock.
