The purpose of this project was to develop and implement a curriculum in the field of aviation to two sixth-grade classes at Tatnuck Magnet School in Worcester, MA. The lessons in this program introduced basic concepts in the study of flight, including principles of physics, aerodynamics, how to fly aircraft, and airport environment. Students learned these concepts through lecture, discussion, demonstration, and hands-on-activities. Upon completion, evaluations by students and teachers praised the program.
