Abstract

The United States is harming the environment with air pollution, becoming increasingly dependent on turbulent nations for energy, and consuming vast amounts of a nonrenewable resource with its over-reliance on oil as an automotive fuel. A full investigation and evaluation of the situation was conducted. Circumstances included viable alternatives, motivators, and resistors to change. Alternative technologies and economic situations were analyzed, and a possible solution devised. A proposal was formulated for the government to plan a new technology's introduction.
