This project concerned the extent to which grades received by students reflect the knowledge that the students have gained. Data for public high schools in Massachusetts was collected, surveys were given out to college students at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and questions were emailed to graduate schools. Suggestions were made as to what can be done to help increase the correlation between what students are learning and what they are receiving for grades at the high school and college levels.
