This project investigates the hydrological crises facing the Zuni, Hopi, and Navajo of the Colorado River Basin. Over centuries these cultures developed deep religious beliefs based around agricultural and hydrological needs. Today these cultures are being threatened by the depletion of their water resources as a result of mismanaged coal mining efforts whereas many of their cultural resources have been threatened by the inundation of Glen Canyon. This project discusses theses people's historical water usage along with their current crises.
